COMMITTEE OF SUSTAINABLE PERFORMANCE INDICES
Stelios Psomas is an environmentalist and works as a consultant on energy and environmental issues. During the period 1990-2001 he served, inter alia, as head of campaigns and Director General at the office of Greenpeace in Greece. As of 2002, after having been proclaimed the strategy and communication consultant of the Hellenic Association of Photovoltaic Companies (HELAPCO), he has significantly contributed to the formulation of legislation and incentives for renewable energy sources (RES) and particularly for photovoltaic systems (establishment of guaranteed prices and auto-production, simplified licensing procedures). He has written hundreds of articles, studies, books and press releases on the above issues and has participated as a speaker in major conferences in Greece and abroad.
In 2005, he began his collaboration with Piraeus Bank Group in matters relating to the promotion of green entrepreneurship and the design of green banking products. He served for four years as Head of the Environmental Control Division of the ETVA Industrial Parks (a subsidiary of Piraeus Bank Group) and since 2013 he has been collaborating with ETVA Industrial Parks as consultant for development investments which respect the principles of sustainability.
