Christos Milopoulos is the manager of ETVA and head of the ETVA investment team. He is also member of the Piraeus Bank Green Banking General Division.
He joined Piraeus Bank Group over twenty years ago. During this time he was dealing with matters regarding the evaluation and valuation of businesses in various industries, business transformations (mergers, demergers, spin-offs), and business acquisitions. Furthermore, one of his duties was the development of alternative funding structures for corporations, as well as raising equity capital by listing shares on the ASE.
Over the past years, he has been a member of the BoD of several affiliated companies of Piraeus Bank Group, while he supported domestic and foreign Group subsidiaries on issues such as capital injections, restructuring of assets and liabilities, compliance with the framework for supervising their activities, etc. He also participated in due diligence procedures when evaluating companies of various activities.
Before being recruited by the Bank, he worked as a researcher at Gothenburg University in Sweden, on issues related to the investment behaviour of industrial firms. He was awarded a doctoral degree in Econometrics by the same University.
