The Hellenic Fund for Sustainable Development (ETVA) is an institution dispensing investment funds in domestic business activities so as to contribute to the development of the Hellenic economy. ETVA specifically seeks to enhance sustainable business activities, namely those that together with a financial outturn also actively manage any impact on society and the environment.

In order for ETVA to achieve its purpose, when selecting the businesses in which it will invest and in addition to purely financial criteria, it also applies measurable social and environmental criteria. For this reason, the selection process for any investments by ETVA is supported by two specialized committees: the Investment Committee and the Committee of Sustainable Performance Indices.
